We accept reservations online. You can make a reservation via Libro by clicking here. If you do not see the time, you’d like it is because we are booked. Libro will suggest other times and dates that are available.

Yes, we do, reservations can be made for up to 6 people. Larger groups can email info@lakesidebala.com of contact us by phone at 705-641-9589. During the summer season, and on The Kee to Bala concert nights reservations are required. We generally cannot accommodate large walk-in groups during the summer or Kee concert nights.

At times we offer live music, and it will be posted on the website.

Reservations can be adjusted directly on Libro. You can edit your group size and time (only if there is availability). If Libro is not allowing the group size or time change, it is because we do not have it available. Reservations can also be cancelled via Libro.

Yes, if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice; or do not show up to your reservation, there is a $50 fee per person. If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, there is no fee and there will be no charge to your credit card.

Yes, a valid credit card is required to book any reservation, whether booking online or over the phone. Your credit card information is securely stored and encrypted via Stripe, a global payment processing company. We do not have access to your credit card number. The credit card is required given that guests at time will not show for their reservation. If you have a reservation, the restaurant is honouring your request and do not have the ability to seat others due to your reservation. Please cancel prior to 24 hours if you have no intent of dining at Lakeside Bala.

No, we are not open for lunch, we open at 5:00pm and have our Dinner Menu available. Generally, our last seating is around 8:00pm.

From Mother’s Day weekend – Labour Day weekend, we are open Tuesday to Saturday 5:00 PM -10:00 PM (Summer season)
From Labour Day weekend to Oktoberfest weekend, we are open Wednesday-Saturday 5:00PM - 8:00PM (Fall Season)
Beginning on the 1st of November through till the middle of May we are only open on Friday and Saturday evenings 5:00PM to 8:00PM (Winter Season)
We are open on Sundays during the summer season on the long holiday weekends.

Yes, we have a take-out menu from our regular dine-in menu based on food that will travel reasonably well.
Take out food can be ordered online during the fall, winter and spring seasons.

Our children’s menu tends to be smaller portions of pasta, or steak options from the main menu.

Many of our regular menu options can be customized to accommodate vegetarian and vegan guests as well as other special dietary requirements or needs.

We are a fine dining restaurant. Only, service dogs with proper papers and harnesses are allowed to dine inside or outside on the patio.

We can offer custom catering; however, we need advance notice for catering during the summer season.

No, we do not offer delivery however Bala Taxi at 705-205-0876 and Torrance Taxi at 705-205-6685 may be able to pick up food and deliver to your location.

Takeout can be ordered by calling the restaurant at (705) 641-9589. Takeout can be picked up from the restaurant. The hostess can provide the takeout and payment processing at the time.

Yes, absolutely. Currently we offer a physical printed card or we can create a digital copy customized for your recipient. Physically printed cards are picked up at the restaurant and digital cards can be emailed.
